Security and Safety
-The issue of protecting yourself from harm while on the internet, whether it is a virus, a stalker, or unfriendly people -The internet can be accessed by anyone and everyone!
-The speed and innovation of the security and safety is how fast things can change to be made more secure. For example, if a virus protection is defective, people will try to innovate, or change it, as fast as possible.
-Many things are stored on the internet, including bank accounts, phone bills, and health records. Personal info is on all of these, and if someone found those records they could take money from you, pretend to be you, and harass you.
-Even though you may feel safe, you are never 100% safe on the internet, just like anywhere else. Someone could always be smarter than your “hacker protection”, and steal your information, place viruses on your computer, and make your life miserable.
-There are some people out there who want to bring harm to you. To protect yourself from these people, you need to be careful who you talk to. It’s ok to make online friends, but don’t give some random dude personal information. This could have dire consequences.
