MateyaT TIGS Introduction
Introduction by MateyaT
Hello my name is MateyaT and I go to TIGS The Illawarra Grammar School I am in year 9 this year and doing IST with my Teacher Mr. Madsen. We have been using the Digiteen site for our school work and activities for IST this year. TIGS is a great school for anyone especially as it is our 50th golden jubilee year for the the school.
The school specialise’s in many things such as Academics, Sport and culture etc and the school and community is a very caring and proud community and school. The school first started in 1959 and since then we have 1000 students attending our school and community from Prep to K-12.
I have been in Tigs since Year 7 which is in the senior school last term in IST we learnt robotics and in fact made and programmed the robot using the Lego Mind storms programme. Then we had to make a wiki page on the robotics and Lego Mind storms were we upload videos and wrote descriptions on the certain programming. Also we had to team up with one or two other students for this task.
This was a lot of fun and exciting for all of our class which has 15 students and this term were learning about the digitalization citizenship also know as the Digi Teen this should be also a lot of involving working with other people overseas and in other countries and schools etc.

But some moments were REALLY corny.
