Well, its a little hard to find web law. First, there is internet in many countries. So, it is hard for world leaders to make web laws, because there are so many peple that have to agree. Another thing is that there are so many web sites, it would take forever to go through them all and make laws concerning what people may or may not do on certain web sites.
For example, if the U.S wanted to make a law aginst putting your personal information on the internet, and the U.K didn't, then the U.S couldn't put a law on it. It would be useless, people in the U.k would put theirs up, and many U.S citizens would go to jail becouse they were doing something they did not know was wrong.
There are laws against limewire, emule, and sites like that, but they are illegal becouse they are an aide in stealing. It is stealing music that you didn't buy. It would be just like going into a store and shoplifting a cd. See, imagine this: everyone has limewire. They are all down loading the newest song, and not buying it. The person who worked hard on it and put it out there for us would make no money. It would make it to where no one would want to be musicians. Therefore it would damage the economy.
Hacking is also a problem. People steal other peoples identities. They take money they barely lifted a finger for. All they did is sit on their butts and type. That act probably ruined someone's life. Hacking also can destroy people's privacy. Everyone should have that right. They should not be worried that some one would be able to see all their personal information.
Spoofing is also wrong. It is the act of convincing someone to give their personal information so that someone can perform identity theft. As I said, identity theft is wrong!
Hijackers are very, very sick people. They send adds for pornography to certain people. They also can get some teens in trouble by putting porn sites in their book marks list. Imagine, your parent comes to play on your computer and finds that. Fun, fun. Also they can make it to where if you type a URL wrong it can redirect you to a porn site. This act can ruin lives! It can seperate couples, ruin marriges, and split teens and their parents even more.http://www.wired.com/techbiz/it/news/2004/05/63391
Digital law can be a good thing . It sets laws to protect and that makes some people happy. It may make some people mad, but it is there and it should be obeyed just like any other law.
