Digital Citizenship for Teenagers

My name is Nicholas and I am a student at the Illawarra grammar school in Wollongong, Australia, commonly known as TIGS. I’m fourteen years of age My name is Nicholas and I am a student at the Illawarra grammar school in Wollongong, Australia, commonly known as TIGS. I’m fourteen years of age and live with my family of five in Tarawanna, a Northern suburb of Wollongong. I am the oldest child in the family, with my two brothers Alex, 11, and Michael, 4, both attending TIGS as well. My mother is Teresa and my father is Frank who works as a software developer for transport systems. The Illawarra grammar school is a great school sporting some of the best educational facilities in the region with a wide range of options available to the students to reach their sporting or academic potential. TIGS are well known for its facilities. TIGS are also involved in collaborative activities such as Future Problem Solving and Debating. I am involved as student host to TIGS.

My interests in sport somewhat changes with the season.
During the winter season I play under 14s second division soccer with Balgownie, another suburb of Wollongong. Last year we made the semis got knocked out just before the Grand Final. During the summer season I compete in small dinghy sailing which is an exciting sport. My profile photo shows me sailing. My brother and cousin also sail together on another class of boat. We both compete in class State and National Regattas that go over the entire summer season, and sail at different locations up and down the coast. The school also provides admittance to an all schools sailing regatta in which I got 13th out of a 134 boats.
I also play piano, but I’m only in first grade. My music interests are new but I dislike rap and heavy metal. One of my favourite bands is Coldplay or the Killers.

The region is packed with beaches along the coast where many people during the summer go to swim. It also has a small range of mountains where I go to do downhill bike riding with my friends. The area is green all times of the year, with temperatures reaching 40 degrees on really hot days and 8 degrees on really cold days. The region has a lake called Lake Illawarra where I go to sail and where people like to go fishing, going on jet skis, and fishing. There is also an Illawarra fly near a friend’s house that takes people on tree tops to provide a view to the Illawarra region. The city of Wollongong has around 200,000 people in it.

Really creative, and one of the most detailed videos (in a descriptive way). But some moments were REALLY corny.
